1st Thessalonians – Video/Audio Bible Commentary

Anthony Buzzard and J. Dan Gill

“Our message of the gospel came to you not in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction.” Those are words found in the opening of Paul’s first letter to the Christians at Thessalonica.

Written around 50 CE, 1st Thessalonians is believed by many to be the earliest of Paul’s 13 letters as found in the New Testament. In it, the apostle lays out essential principles of the pure faith of the first Christians. Understanding this writing is an opportunity for Christians today to learn what “the” faith looked like before the development of dogmas and creeds as created by later Christians after the Bible was written.

So, join J. Dan Gill and Anthony Buzzard in exploring Paul’s 1st letter to the Thessalonians. This chapter by chapter commentary will benefit those who are new to the faith and seasoned Christians alike!
