Jerry Smith is 55 yrs old and has been playing since age 11 when he started taking private lessons. No one ever had to make him practice as he took to music like a "duck to water". After 6 years of lessons, to take the load off of his teacher, he was giving lessons to beginner students.
He attended Methodist Church services growing up where later he lead the choir for a time and frequently played for church services and "specials".
More recently he played for the Salvation Army Church in Brunswick Ga, and now plays on occasion for the Restoration Church of God in Fayetteville Ga, where he currently attends. He is a fervent believer in the One God, Yahweh, and the Messiah Jesus Christ and tries daily to find ways to help his brethren to come to the Truth about God and our relationship to him.
