John Railton
Pastor John Railton is an enjoyable speaker who brings to 21st Century Reformation Online a lifetime of experience in dedication to the cause of Christ. He has an obvious passion for preaching the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus.
John comes from a family rich in the heritage of the Church of God General Conference. His great-grandfather, F.L. Austin was a pastor and a leader in the conference and served many churches during his life. John's father, Austin Railton, moved his family from Virginia to Illinois in 1954 in order to attend Oregon Bible College. After graduating, Austin pastored churches in seven states over the course of his ministry.
John Railton attended Oregon Bible College beginning in 1967 where he also met his wife Alice. While still at the college, John and Alice felt led of God into pastoral ministry. Since graduating in 1971, John has served as pastor of churches in Illinois, Minnesota, and Indiana. He is presently the pastor of a new congregation, "Family Bible Church," which is located in Granger, Indiana.
John and Alice Railton live in Grainger, Indiana. They have been married some 40 years and have three grown children and five grandchildren.
